I bought a clavinet a while ago for something like 150 $. Nice price,
wasn't it?
It is in very good condition, even the rubber hammer tips are okay.
It is marked "Clavinet D6" on the front side and this is something I
don't understand.
As far as I can find out it should be an E7 since the upper side is black
metal, not teak. The vinyl covering is also black. It doesn't have the
same circuit board as the D6 either, it looks more modern. It got no legs
which I believe is significant for the E7. It is also possible to connect
an external power source. The serial number is 829280.
Personally I would guess that it is an "early E7" and that Hohner at that
point hadn't change the model name but that's just what I guess. Does
anybody know anything?
