Plugging it into the damper port doesn't work.....
Assuming you've checked to make sure this pedal works........
Go to global, then "menu" and controller. Modify the damper "polarity"
(change the sign). Don't forget to save this setup by pressing the
"rec/write" button.
Hope that was it :-)

Ok, they were right to say that you should throw
all keyboard manuals into the trash! It was easy to
do by just playing around with it, but thanks for your
response.
Ok, next easy question: how do i apply the EQ
to a sound, and then apply a different EQ to another
sound, and then save the settings, so i have different
EQing on two sounds? One of the organ sounds on
here is GREAT, but it's much mellower than the piano.
Also, is there some way i can recall setting 070,
with just a push of a button, and then recall setting 001,
by pushing another button? So i can avoid having to punch in
"0-7-0" every time i want to go to the other sound?
That would be much more convenient, live on stage.
Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you talking about using 'combi'
or 'split' patches where the sounds are either stacked or zoned to different
areas of the keyboard?
If you are, you'll have to route each sound and effect to a different
output.
Or you might have to go into "program' mode and save the settings there
first.

Look to see if there's a 10's hold button (or something like that...I have
the Korg O1W)

This is in program mode. And i want to modify the EQ
separately for each sound, and save the results, so that i
have a different EQ setting for EACH sound. In particular,
one for the organ, and one for the piano.
And i want to SAVE these settings permanently.

But is there a way to save favorite sounds/settings, and
then
recall them at a push of a button?
OK. On my O1W you use the rec/write button. I don't know if you have that on
yours.

I don't think so. What I would do is put all your most used patches close in
location to each other so you can access them faster.

That's what I used to do.
