Does anyone know what this thing is called VIRUS that appears with the
Waldorf ads in Keyboard magizine? I think there's a website, but I ain't
sure. It looks really neato, and if you know where I can get one, and
how much it costs, consider yourself a blessed soul.

waldorf does have a site at some suitably obvious location like
www.waldorf.com or similar, so do check out the specs.

in columbus, you may be best suited (dare I say it) at sam ash. check with
brian fay in the keyboards area, he is the good guy in that department.
he'll be the best person in town for getting you pricing and availability
info.

cheers.

Here is the address for the Access Virus.
Waldorf makes some wonderful synths also.
The Pulse, Microwave2 and the Microwave XT.
I own the Microwave2 and the Pulse......... both synths
sound completely different........ but both are warm
and juicy to the ears :)
I am not all that familiar with the Virus....... but have
heard great things about it.

Check out the Waldorf site: <http://www.waldorf-gmbh.de/>

A retailer that carries them is Eurosynth: <http://www.xmission.com/~synth/>

Check out http://www.muenster.de/~canine/virus/ for information and
links to mailing list, Access web site, FAQ, etc. Got mine from Rogue
http://www.roguemusic.com/ for about 1195 a couple of months ago. Don't
know about now though, everyone has stopped advertising the price on
their websites. They seem to be somewhat scarce. I was talking to the
US distributer last week trying to get an English manual (the earlier
shipments came with the German manual because the English manuals were
not ready) and he pointed out that I was lucky to have a Virus, they are
coming over in small quanities, and have become quite popular.
