Ah yes....they mythical Gola. Amazing what some people think they are worth.
This IS an excellent accordion....but you can do a LOT better for the
money....or about 1/3 of the money.

none of these are 140 Bass,
presumably Hohner could srtill make you one,
but you'd have to beg them and be willing to
pay any price I suppose.

Mine is a Goletta 1 model
equivalent to the current Gola IV...
It's a fine, dependable accordion, and
I gig with it several times a week.

But if I had an Insurance loss, would I take
the $12 grand and buy another one?

or would I fly to Italy, stay at the Hotel Parco for a week,
eat like a king, throw money all around town and
bring back 3 or 4 different cool, new accordions?
Ahhh... let's see... a nice Alpine style Fantini...
a pretty white pearl Guerrinni...
how about a fresh, red Serenellini
maybe one of those new-fangled
reedless things from Master too...

gee, I still have enough money left over
to have one of those 3 hour 7 course
meals at that fancy place in Ancona
overlooking the Adriatic

I have just added two Hohner Gola accordions to the for sale section of
the Leyland Accordion Club Website at the address below. Both are at
very good prices, much less than the shop price.
