Sunny McGhee yet another Seattle Squeezer

Is a bit shy, and thinks Squeezers are the nicest people on the Net.
Bill Hodgson Darlington England
Not a lot of other players in his part of England... so if anyone
is vacationing up there, stop and visit.
Michael (Misha) Berenstein San Francisco CA
Misha is quite a do-it-yourselfer, and would have been right
at home in the days of the great Empirics experimenting with
Instrument materials and design. He's still suffering a bit
from Culture shock, which is good for our group, because he
brings us a point of view often quite unique, yet interestingly true.
Tony Warnock Los Alamos, NM
Has some cool accordions that he plays for fun... I'm getting a
mental image of an accordion player sitting high up on one of the
Sand dunes playing in the moonlight...
the young Desert in New Mexico is a very musical and inspiring place.
Donald Nichols (DoN.) Washington DC suburbs -- Vienna VA.
the "keeper of the Gate" Don is quite the technician, both mechanically

Mark Rosher Bristol, West of England
a very busy, polite gentleman who will probably stick

as time goes on, but it looks like he'll be a valuable addition to the
ranks.
Jeremiah Tobius Hanson, aka Toby. Partytown, USA! (Seattle, WA)

Ron Smith Helena, Montana, USA
Has a slew of cool accordions including some fine Morino's. A

Probably moved to Helena 'cause he liked the Polka of the same name.
Ann McChesney-Young Berkeley, California

Donald Nowicki ( eDon ) Phillipsburg N.J.
eDon is partial to cool Pan accordions, is a do-it-hisselfer who
just successfully installed his own MIDI system. He's really excited

also
seek the Flame in his own way, making people happy as he goes.
Paul Kriwaczek London, England
With a jazz background as a Sax man in his youth, Paul now enjoys
Klezmer as well as Jazz on the Accordion. Would like
to meet kindred spirits in the (NW) London area to jam with.
Mark Popp Seattle, WA, USA
Mark digs Tex-Mex, Sea Chanteys and Civil War tunes. He's a real self
starter, but even though he's done a fine job learning to play,
very few people know it because he's stayed mostly to himself.
Someone up there needs to put their arm around his shoulder and
bring him (and hit main squeeze) along to some gatherings!
Michael Reid Boulder, Colorado

Rick Burk - Washington DC
loves Polkas and such... "if he knew then what he knows now"

has helped get a lot of people on the newsgroup started.
Rachael Kenoyer - Seattle, WA, now known as "Partytown, U.S.A."
plays a stunning fuschia Pancordion. Why say Polka just once,
when you can say "Polkas Polkas Polkas" instead? May have learned to
spell from Toby (Scanda who?) in fact, from the sounds of it, she
may have been made to order (PTL) for a guy like Toby.
Peggy Thompson - Ormond Beach , Florida, USA

Bagpipes (when faced with a rabid mob of Accordion haters)

Hopefully she'll come out and join the jams in the Windy City very soon.
Jeff Newmaster - Hampton, VA

playing over 35 years now. He'd like to get together with
other squeezers for fun and games.
Otto Kiehn - North Canada
Began lessons in Denmark as a teenager, and has come
back to the PA in retirement... checks the newsgroup daily
Jim Besser . Outside Washington DC
Plays guitar in the dance band JumpStart, but is hoping
to do more and more Squeezing.
more to come...
Not quite convinced I'm the one described in The Roundmen, but there's
an uncomfortable amoutn of truth to that. I do take her travelling with
me, but we definitely don't spend enough time either practicing or
peforming. (One indication of this is that she still hasn't told me her
name...)
Calling me one of the group's premier voices is definitely overstating
the matter. "One of the more verbose participants" would be more
accurate. But if I'm amusing and/or assisting folks, great; gods know
I've gotten a lot of good advice, and a lot of smiles, from the rest of
you.

Saved from musical obscurity by his wifes Hohner... Dan is one

I should have written it better. Was future spouse when she turned me
onto accordions. I thought perhaps she had an interest in playing, so
(get ready to go awwww, or turn away in horror) when I proposed to her,
I slipped the thumb strap of a Hohner 1-row onto her ring finger. She
said yes anyway. So, two years and 8 months of wedded bliss later, I've
got 4 BB's, 2 PA's and a concertina, and she's taking up the electric
bass. I'm a lucky cuss because she not only has tolerated my noisy
affliction, but has encouraged it.
...now someday kids, I'll tell you which (in)famous accordion player she
ditched for to date me...
Ventura, an absolutely smashing follow on to an already great thread.
