I have a Tango II M that I am not necessarily trying to sell, but I just had
a new bellows made and was about to re-do the reeds and wondered what that
kind of accordion sells for. It may be better than the 96 bass Hohner made
now, and it has L-M-M reed setup. It will be basically like new when I am
done. I only ask because I seldom sell or buy accordions, although I have
about 50 stashed away accumulated over the years. I was about to keep it for
my own use but a guy with a L-M-H bertini who wanted a a more polka like
sound sent his and it is getting too heavy for him anyway and needed to
trade for a lighter one. The Bertini weighs a lot and can't be tuned
musette. what are the new L-M-M 96 basses selling for now?

The Hohner Tango IIM is only getting about 250 bucks......you probably spent
more then that on the bellows. It is a very good sounding box however, I have
one and retrofitted it for midi.

Is a buck the same as a USDollar??

If so, don't hesitate to buy a shipload, send them to Europe, and sell them
for twice the amount plus shipment. That way you'll make a good income.

Success!!!

Really. I can't imagine those instruments being that cheap at your side!!!

Greetings from Holland.

Hillebrand.

The $250 must be for unrestored condition. I will completely over haul the
reeds. Obviously it has to be worth more than that with new bellows. What do
new 96 basses go for now? It's probably better than most of those.

Where are these accordions made, Andy, and by whom?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, but are they mechanically as well made? Do the keys wobble, etc.?Are
the bellows as good as custom made ones from Gallizzi? If Chinese do they
have to be repaired before being used?

Even when 2 instruments sound the same (which is almost impossible, b.t.w.),
there might well be "a slight difference" in quality!

And this IS an understatement indeed!
