These'll be the Bertrand Galliard boxes, I assume. Rather nice wooden
boxes of similar design to the more commonly available Castagnari and
Saltarelle. Beautiful build quality and sound, easily in the
Castagnari class. Not many professional box players seem to play them
- availability issue mostly, I think - there's a pretty healthy
waiting list. Two that do: Joe Derrane, and Yann-Fanch Perroche (sp ?)
of Skolvan. I've seen 2 and 2.5 row versions - I think there are a few
models available.
Don't have a contact address - I've only seen his stall at St.
Chartier, France. Would expect that the major accordion shops in
France would help you track him down quite easily.
Cheers,
Clive.
