I haven't tried that yet... maybe I will before all this is over.

"Ladonia Looks So Cold" is a decima rhyme scheme adapted to a
country-western song:

Ladonia Looks So Cold

Film into the lonely wilderness
aim your arrow to the screen.
To a level in lighted mist
tenth norn of elseworld dream.
Nests of ghosts in a webbed beam,
born illuminated and clear.
Glowing light child of Kaos string
shake fate infinity mirror.

I've been plenty high and dry
learned to brush away the tears.
Working for the Power and Supply
In this storm without fear.
I was tied up on the phone
she was out on her own.
I've seen some good times
now I'm out on this dusty road.

But it isn't oh so kind, with no care
there's a signal in her dirty blonde hair
she's oh so bold.
Ladonia looks so cold.

Film into the eyeless abyss
aim your arrow to the screen.
To a level in lighted mist
tenth norn of afterimage dream.
Making only workman's wages
I never have the time.
When I'm out here in the night
working on this power line.
Working on this power line.

Eternal September (also Never-ending September, The Long

or endless September), according to the Internet
slang glossary the Jargon File, is a Usenet slang expression, coined
by Dave Fischer, for the period beginning September
1993. The
expression encapsulates the belief that an endless influx of new users
(newbies) since that date has continuously degraded standards of
discourse and behavior on Usenet and the wider Internet.

Background
Usenet originated among universities, so, every year in
September, a large number of new university students acquired access to
Usenet, and took some time to acclimate themselves to the network's
standards of conduct and "netiquette". After a
month or so, these new users would theoretically learn to comport themselves
according to its conventions. September, thus, heralded the peak influx of
disruptive newcomers to the network.

In 1993, the online service America Online began offering Usenet access
to its tens of thousands, and later millions, of users. To many
"old-timers", these "AOLers" were far less prepared to learn netiquette than
university freshmen. This was, in part, because AOL
took few pains to educate its users about Usenet customs, or explain to them
that these new-found forums were not simply another piece of AOL's service.
But it was also a result of the much larger scale of growth. Whereas the
regular September freshman influx would soon settle down, the sheer number
of new users now threatened to overwhelm the existing Usenet culture's
capacity to inculcate its [[social
norm]]s.

Since that time, the dramatic rise in the popularity of the Internet has
brought a constant stream of new users-in some people's view, drowning out
the old Usenet entirely.
Thus, from the point of view of the pre-1993 Usenet user, the regular
"September" influx of new users never ended.

The term was first used by Dave Fischer in a January 26, 1994, post
to alt.folklore.computers:<ref name="firstuse">{{cite newsgroup|title=Weeks?

The gag is at times extended-for instance, the notional future date at
which Usenet discourse will become sensible, mature, and educated has been
called "October 1, 1993". An attempt to hurry the
arrival of that date is being made by the proponents of Usenet II.

On February 9, 2005, AOL discontinued newsgroup access through its
service, which it announced on January 25, 2005.<ref name =

No, I didn't write that, Duckery. As usual, your piss-poor reading
comprehension has caused you to look even stupider. However, if anyone had
that size of an ego it would be YOU.

Who cares? You aren't doing a whole lot better then "Orson" is in
terms of spreading good will around the planet. Don't you know better
then to feed trolls?

Duckery *is* a troll. He constantly spams Usenet with his unspeakable shit
and then post-edits when people respond to it and tell him he sucks.

Cherokee tale of the two wolves

A Grandfather from the Cherokee Nation was talking with his grandson.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves."

"One wolf is evil and ugly: He is anger, hate, envy, war, greed, self-
pity, sorrow, regret, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false
pride, superiority, selfishness and arrogance."

"The other wolf is beautiful and good: He is friendly, joyful, peace,
love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, justice,
fairness, empathy, generosity, true, compassion, gratitude, and deep
VISION."

"This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other human
as well."

The grandson paused in deep reflection because of what his grandfather
had just said. Then he finally cried out; "Oyee! Grandfather, which
wolf will win?"

The elder Cherokee replied, "The wolf that you feed."

Heh... do tell.

Sounds like you're making a confession that all these years you've spewed
your homophoia on these newsgroups, in real life "Somebody's been getting in
the back door for over four years..."

Again, thanks for proving my point for me, and as Karla nailed you and your
schtick perfectly, recently:

"...Those types of pictures are offensive to me but I can also be offended
by what someone writes. We communicate less by pictures on the poetry
newsgroups but that doesn't mean that the picture words we create aren't as
offensive as a picture. It's just that the picture as communication has more
shock value because we use pictures less here. Now, I have no idea what most
of you mean when you bash someone by depicting them in homosexual acts,
whether it is with words or pictures. What I mean is, using it here may not
mean that you're anti-gay, homophobic, sexist, etc. I have no idea. But the
cheap shot isn't helpful and promotes sexist and homophobic
hinking..." -Karla Rogers explains the /Uncle Hammes type/.

Rick Edwards, Henry Conley and me will be continuing his songwriter's

come down and join us as we generate musical energy in honor of our

You're a delusional dunce. First of all, nobody except you knows who the
fuck Tripp Wrigley is, and second of all, nobody is going to send 'good
energy' to anyone you reccomend. Thirdly, there is no such thing as 'good
energy,' you drugged-up alcoholic doofus.

And for "Old Man", I think it was, who asked me for more specific
directions to and information on, the Vault from the local newspaper:

http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/news/breaking_news/story/421135.html

Vault hosts songwriter night

Local songwriters will showcase their talents tonight at The Vault,
1026 Broadway.

Hosted by Tripp Wrigley, the evening will feature Rick Edwards, Riley

Yielding, Henry Conley and Will Dockery.

The music starts at 9 p.m. and it's open to partiers 21 and older.
