A little bit of heaven
*****************

there is a heaven
above
sprinkling snowflakes
on your face

if i wont make it
to the spring sun
wont you say hi
for me

i hope we survive
i hope we stay fine
but sometimes i am so scared
of all the dangers out there
but i guess that is how it goes
cest a la vie i suppose

if i wont make it
to the spring sun
wont you say hi
for me

the snow is falling down
and i am feeling almost right
i am alright

and it covers your
long brown hair
as i can not help
but stop and stare

at little bit of heaven
walking by my side
a little bit of heaven
fell down from the sky

there is a long long way to go
through the snow, towards the home

if i wont make it
to the spring sun
wont you say hi
for me

the snow is falling down
and i am feeling almost right
i am alright

and it covers your
long brown hair
as i can not help
but stop and stare

at little bit of heaven
walking by my side
a little bit of heaven
fell down from the sky

I don't know why for sure, but this one really struck me as the perfect
tune to have at the end of a movie while the credits are running. The
movie would have been a European spy action thing, sort of like the
Bourne movies, but actually made by Europeans; probably Germans or maybe
Czechs. The ending of the movie would have involved the hero having an
ironic, wtf expression on his face, maybe because he's been betrayed by
his friends, but he's tough and has a jaded view of humanity. Having
this tune play over the credits would support the ironic mood of the ending.
That's how it reached me, anyway.

The song was inspired by the most cliched chords ever..

See.. I saw this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHBVnMf2t7w
(axis of awesome 4 chords)

.. I just had to have a go at it.. And write a song using those chords.
