Ive done song called "we are here for a while" many times before. .
But hey. I like
the idea. Chords. Nothing special about them.
In the ending. As I was singing. The mic picked a bird singing outside
through a open
window. I decided to let it be on the song.

we are here for a while
***********************
(nedas song)
we are here for a while
like the clouds on the sky
and it do not really matter
we do not really matter
once we were dust
now we can sing
for a while you and me
in this world so old
we are here for a while
just a little while
someday we will all be dust again
marching feet
being gunned to the street
in the name of god
used to control the sheep
millions of fingers
being pointed at stars
like there was someone
who cares
we are here for a while
like the clouds on the sky
someday we will all be dust again
stardust that used to have a name
when you closed your eyes
a million hearts caught fire
for a while you were famous
like a mortal messiah
but the goons they cracked
all the protesting skulls
and michael jackson died
wiping out your cries
for freedom
you died free
you can try to kill idea
but you can never kill hope
you can stab it, you can shoot it
it will wait for you to croak
and it will rise from the ashes
like a phoenix to the sky
free
you died free
we are here for a while
like the clouds on the sky
girl
she was just a girl
what is so scary about a girl
that you had to shoot her
-
Wow
could be the one
If you want to be better known you should post this on youtube, and twitter
about it
The Internet marketers check out what is being searched for NOW
www.google.com/trends/hottrends
write blogs about a hot topic with their angle on it
email their content to the third world cheapo workers, who create accounts
all over the social media
then post it out to dozens of social and video sites at a time using tools
like
Susan Boyle was all over the internet not by each viewer telling 3 viewers
about her, but each internet marketer watching the others and telling 50
people about her, each with their own spin..
This is scary, because false info can be spread as easily as true stuff, by
people with very limited resources.
OTOH there is now no excuse for not being heard.

The song is hot. :)
To pick holes... Dynamics and contrast.
(Talking about the presentation now,)
That chorus is like an **anthem** and the strings
are doing the right thing, but you could take that
furher and create more contrast between the
different sections of the song,
like a few subtle harmonies on the pre-chorus,
stereo unison BVs on the chorus, an extra snare drum
on the chorus,
maybe some contra basses or cellos on
the chorus, just a bit more arrangement/production
to enhance the chorus and to beef things
up a little. You could also sing the chorus a
*little* bit louder to make it more powerful.
Plus..a few minor pronouciation issues that people
will forgive you for. Like the vowel sound on "clouds"
being wrong, the stress on "control" being a bit odd
and a few other sentences that have slightly odd
rhythm or stress,
I'm not a native (American) English speaker myself
and not even a singer but I do care about things like
that.
I downloaded free intonation and pronounciation
"repeat after me" type exercises from the net to Amercianize
my own accent slightly, just for writing and being aware.
I don't speak with an American accent but I do try
to sing with a neutral US accent when I'm writing.
It's an OK pop song
All you to do is beef your productions up a bit

Lol. Yes.
I always lack oomph to push songs over the edge.
I was kidding to my wife that I wish I had a plug ins to do improvised
slash solos and another
to turn my voice to Elvis. :D
I was adding guitars to it yesterday, but I took most of them down
after I felt they just did not cut it..
I got rid of the 2 different drum machines. So now there is only one
(to get a little bit more uniform sound).
I also have been messing with vocals and did a new wurlizer ending
with a fade out..
Today I will try to sing a little bit more. But I would not expect
anything much to come from that. .

Thank you for the comments.
Singing is a biatch when you can not sing. No doubt you are right
about
my pronunciation mistakes. My English is far from perfect and the
English
I do talk does have a little southern (think Georgia) accent to it
nowdays thanks
to my wife.
I will take your suggestions into consideration while messing with the
song today..
Thanks once again.
