thx. my daughter was searching around amazon.com for clothing with sax
graphics and found that the saxaphone spelling is used quite a lot,
at least by uninformed people selling t-shirts and bags...

Aye, it's a good search terms for ebay..usually means the seller
hasn't got a clue....and it just might be that old Selmer from under
the bed!

I've noticed that too!
But even ebay sellers of sundry repair parts will list under both
spellings, simply for the same reeasons that people spell it both ways.

I sometimes list both spellings in the metadata on my web pages...I
find it catches the odd Google search.
