Mitsuko Uchida appears to have a highly regarded rendition of this work, and
it is available on Amazon. I am writing a paper on Schoenberg, and would
like to hear the best recording of his concerto. What do you all think is
the definitive recording?

Thanks,

Glarb

Uchida seems the most popular choice. Gould's playing has never inspired

I like the Brendel/Gielen, coupled with the two chamber symphonies.

Don't know, but the best recording of the Walton Viola Concerto is, of
course, Music Minus One!
