Has anyone heard of the Miki Gakki brand manufactured by Yamaha? There's
a really nice looking and sounding specimen locally but I can't find any
information about the brand. I did lots of Google searches, but there's
not much there. Even when I translated the Japanese websites I couldn't
get much. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Miki Gakki is one of the biggest distributor of piano in Japan, which
is established in 1825.

(Japanese only)

I don't know much about Miki Brand Piano, but the web site of Miki
Gakki saiys Miki Gakki started to sale Miki Brand piano in 1929.

Now Miki Gakki seems not to sale their own brand, I've found such
second-handed piano online.

Translation of the comment the piano appeared in
<http://www.jin.ne.jp/kotani/syousai/miki_1.htm> is;

Miki Brand Piano
Model No.1
In 2975
Ser. No.26112
H121cm x D61cm x W153cm
Color: black
This piano is the specially ordered item to Yamaha by Miki Gakki in
Osaka, which has a long history.
It has Yamaha action inside.
As for appearance it seems old, but sound is very soft and clear.
Its sound and touch is excellent. Highly recommended.
