Did you ever had the opportunity to play them side by side? I had. Play
them hard, and you may notice that the Schimmel tops out earlier than
the Seiler in terms of timbre changes at ff and louder. On the actions,
the Schimmel has a Renner action and I thought that the Seiler has a
Renner action as well. This would mean equal quality of the actions,
slightly different feel perhaps, but that's in the realm of individual
preference. IOW, I would consider the Seiler a little higher quality
than the Schimmel.

I like them both, and it will come down to personal choice. I wish they
wouldn't put that garish "S E I L E R" logo the side of their pianos!

Seiler make their own actions. They are very good as well though!
I agree with you on the quality matter.
