At that time, American Built the Haines,Arnstring, Marshall & Wendell,
Foster & Co, Stratford, Brewster, J&C,fisher &Franklin pianos. Most were
similiar if not almost identical.
After 1910, the company shifted it's efforts to building player-pianos. In
the middle twenties all these brands, including the Haines, could be ordered
with the new Amipco reproducing system(Model a)
Hope this helps.

1905 is pretty old, if it has original strings and hammers. Haines was
a fine make, built like a tank, and well worth rebuilding -- but the
condition of the case seems to be the biggest question -- that is up to
you to deicide, or if you are considering refinishing, if there will be
extra work to repair the scars.
