A method of contact would be appreciated - s-mail, phone number, e-mail (?),
anything.

Horowitz was an intensely private person, well-insulated from the outside
world by his wife, Wanda, who undoubtedly still rules after his death, as
she did before. Communications with outsiders, such as yourself, were
handled by a corresponding secretary, so your chances of a personal reply
are virtually zip. A possible contact would be Peter Gelb at Columbia
Artists Management, but any inquiry about accessing his music-- transcrip-
tions, cadenzas, etc-- would be futile. They weren't available during his
lifetime and they're not availaable now. The only real access you have to
them are his recordings. So if you want to play them as he did, you'll
have to try to transcribe them from the recordings yourself-- a daunting
task to be sure, but apparently the only way available to you. Good luck!

As a piano lover myself I never admired Horowitz as a pianist so I won't
be interested in this matter.
By the way had Vladimir got no children?

For the Horowitz Archives, try Yale University.

Unless she has passed away also, and I don't think she has, Horowitz's
wife, Wanda (daughter of Arturo Tuscanini), probably has a say in things.

Horowitz is buried in Milan, not Genoa, and he is interred in the
Toscanini family vault.
