I haven't been playing the piano long, and I want to know how much practice
I should do per day. Can anyone help?

As much as you want and as little as you want BUT DO IT REGULARLY!!! It's
better to practice for e few minutes a day, every day, than wait until the
hour before your lesson and go for it! Vary your routines to prevent boredom
setting in. But, the rule of thumb is....don't make it a chore, take it easy!__

As a long-time piano teacher with good success with my students, I have
found that asking them to play a piece a certain number of times each day
rather than clock-watching has been well-received. The key is
consistency, not all at once right before the lesson!
