DW's address is:

Drum Workshop
101 Bernoulli Circle
Oxnard, CA 93030

If you write to them I'm sure they would be happy to send you a
catalog - they are a nice bunch of folks (in my limited experience!).

The day Schuh is jealous of DW drums is the day I take an axe to my
Gretsch's. Schuh plays Sonor BTW. Bitter? I've never tasted him.

Progressive Metal Pop

All original music

We have been described as a cross between
Rush and the Police, with a bit of
King Crimson thrown in for spice

But it goes beyond that...our music is diverse
and difficult to easily categorize. It combines
elements of progressive rock and metal, but
utilizes pop structures and beautiful melodies
to make listener-oriented songs with passion
and intelligence.

We have a three-song demo tape recorded at
an excellent 8-track digital studio called
First Take in Fairfield, AL

If you'll send us three dollars ($3) to cover
shipping and handling, we'll send you a copy

<<<If you're outside the United States, send
four dollars ($4)>>>

Just send it to

No they aren't thick (compared to our Phonics), but the 6ply Gretsch
shell is thicker than DW or Starclassic or the like.... that was my
point. And Gretsch doesn't use those silly reinforcing hoops!

While it's off topic, I'd suggest trying a wadding polish such as
Nu-Bright (I think that's what it's called). It's a solution soaked
cotton like material that normally comes in a small can. You simply tear
some off and start polishing. It's worked great for me in the past and
cuts through the crud better than the liquid polishes I've tried. If the
underlying metal is in good shape you might consider re-chroming, but it
can be awfully expensive.
