In the same issue local 802 drummer Larry Lelli plays
MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET.

Isn't interesting that those DWs that Peter is playing are DIRECT rip
offs of a Gretsch kit? Maple/gum shells with die cast hoops? Where
have I seen that combo before? ;-) I don't know how any working
players could afford either of those kits either. Both DW and Gretsch
are smoking crack for what they want for a 3 piece kit these days.
Shit, I could make a kit out of solid Cocboloo shells

Sorry,
I meant to write that I could make a 3 piece kit out of solid Cocobolo
shells and sell it for what they want for ply drums and still make
money. It's disgusting what they charge for drums. Both DW and Gretsch
can suck a big fat cock as far as I'm concerned.

Any working drummer could afford to buy any set that they wanted. You never
made it past the $80 a gig level--so you woulnt have a fucking clue---you
sure are obsessed with gretch-too bad you never were good enough for an
endorsement deal.

And yet, somehow Peter Erskine and Tony Royster Jr. have both managed to
achieve great success and acclaim, in spite of the fact that Tom the Genius has
no respect at all for their accomplishments. How can this be? In fact, Tom
has been spouting his same "greasy grooves" drivel in this newsgroup for more
years than it took either Peter or Tony to learn the drums and make names for
themselves. I sense a wee bit of jealousy.

By the way Tom, you forgot the superfluous apostrophe between the "w" and the "s".

Oh, and one more thing Tom. Since you're such a big Steely Dan fan, what do
you think could *possibly* have possessed Becker and Fagen to hire a blow-hard
like Peter Erskine to play drums on their "Alive In America" tour?
