Just got back from the Michael Buble' gig. His drummer, Bill Wysaske,
is brilliant. Holy ****, it's been a long time since I've seen someone
who can play like that (especially at his age = 27). Anyone here seen
him play? I know he studied under Ed Soph at North Texas State, which
probably went a long way into making him absolutely perfect for the
big band/jazz/pop niche that Michael Buble' has created. I think Bill
can be seen on the new DVD "Come Fly With Me", so that's definitely
going on the VISA card this weekend.
Anyway, this guy's a great showman, and just a joy to watch. Check him
out (they're touring the US & Europe shortly) - definitely one to keep
your eye on.
Later,
Kelly :)

Thanks for the link. Not my usual listening style, but wow what a singer
this kid is! (I like the song "sway"). I wish I had more of a collection
in this style. Have to fix that! Great drums as well. The sound bites
from his site are cool, although somewhat low quality, the snare crack
kills! I'm not familiar with Bill Wysaske, but will do some research on
him.

Interesting, I did not know that :) Now I am more intrigued.

I believe there are some sound bites on Bill's website -
http://www.billwysaske.com. (Except I can't hear them because my PC is
misbehaving!) Let me know what you think. :) Kelly
