relishes the idea that he is so important, he is the "most trolled man
on the internet". Can all these trolls be faked? Maybe not but I suspect
a large numbers are probably from his Mr. Jekyl and Dr Hyde personality
disorder.

Rob Schuh has been busted in RMMP for anonymous posting. The
coincidences and the similarities in juvenile, unsophisticated writing
styles of his "real" posts and his anonymous posts are obvious,
especially when he discovers a new word and over uses it, but you'll
have to decide for yourself, since the nature of anonymous remailing
services allows the offender to hide like a coward.
Who is Rob Schuh the drummer?
He is a white caucasian in his late thirties who lives in Phoenix
Arizona. He plays the drums.
Professionally? No, he doesn't make his living from it as far as we
know.
Does he play on a master level as he claims? Who knows? Who cares? He
does!
From his prolific postings as an authority here in RMMP you'd think he
would have some experience to back it up, but the truth is very few here
have heard him play. These authors know of some who have heard him and
there was not a lot of details forthcoming. He has never recorded
anything that has been published that we know of. This is neither here
not there as far as RMMP is concerned since experience and expertise is
not a prerequisite, just an interest in drums, rather it is HIS claim to
such heights that brings the subject up. So all we can tell you is that,
according to him, his musical interests run in a very narrow vein of
50's and 60's bop and post bop jazz, free jazz, some 60's rock and soul
pioneers like Hendrix and Stevie Wonder, Jaco Pastorius who he claims to
have jammed with once, and some current jazz. He like only jazz type
drums and cymbals and tunings and doesn't tolerate other opinions about
such things. He claims to own only two drum instruction books. He thinks
this narrow focus, this ivory tower of jazz, allows him to bash anything
having to do with other musics and types of drumming, drumming
equipment, or artists and drummers that fall outside his tastes. This is
usually the basis of his flaming and trolling within the context of
drums and music. He claims to have played with some "jazz giants" and
has posted a listing of them if you care to search for it.
What does he do for a living? We don't know. Nothing as far as we can
tell.

His personal life is documented in a newspaper article that sounds like
the interviewer was force fed his romanticized view of his life. Note
the reservations that the writer expresses and the disclaimers of his
friends' comments....

Perversely, he is quite forthcoming about his federal prison time served
for his use/abuse (you decide) of bodybuilding drugs and the resultant
health problems including a kidney transplant. He seems to wear these
experiences like a badge of courage. Everybody must try to make sense of
his own life. We all have our stories here in RMMP. Rob Schuh likes to
tell his a lot. We are tired of hearing it. It is boring.
Rob Schuh's modus operandi:
Rob's tactics are those of a bully. He attacks everyone at some point.
His targets are indiscriminate targets. He particularly stalks "newbies"
and anyone advertising musical services or goods, claiming they are
spammers (we get very little actual bulk mail spamming here in RMMP). He
also attacks those who use AOL or WebTV since he knows they may be new
at usenet and particularly vulnerable to his stalking. He usually backs
off when a newbie calls his bluff well, proves that he is respected as a
professional, or proves that he knows what he is talking about
concerning music and drumming, like this guy:

early on had a completely unexpected verbal run-in with Shuh,
afterwhich I on-line castigated his eye-openingly juvenile reply, and
thereafter refused to respond or comment on any more of his posts.
It seems almost odd, though, considering how very reasonable --even
thoughtful-- he comes across as every so often. Yet he clearly has no
compunctions about instantly turning into a most immature,
foul-mouthed `kid'... seemingly just on a whim. It's like he has two
different personalities.
I've been tempted to respond to a couple of his more civil posts: I do
indeed like talking with other drummers, as we all do here. But `once
bitten' is quite enough for me, at least until I see some sort of long

As a provocateur his posts contain repetitive words, phrases and almost
word for word posts that are the tool of his trade, which is bullying.
He uses them over and over and over again as though it were scripted or
like a parrot (hmmmm.... maybe it's his parrot that's trolling :-) Every
internet bully has a schtick and Rob's is that of the tough guy: the
bitter, holier than thou "artiste". Here is Rob Schuh's vocabulary: Once
you realize that you were trolled with his cliches and that you were
just another faceless victim, it's easier to kill file him and move on.
Remember, this is from a nearly 40 year old man. Out of context, much
like his presence on RMMP:
