If you are into new technology and want a REALLY smooth pedal, check
these out: http://www.airlogic.com/. I had a guy come up to me before a
drum clinic and wanted me to try it. Normally it takes me a while to
adjust to any new pedal. I put that thing on and after only loosening
the spring, I played the whole clinic and felt I played better with it
than my pedal. The only reason I did not buy it on the spot is because I
beat my pedals up and just toss them into a trap bag. This has an air
pressure gauge and a few other things that could break off. If I kept
this in a separate bag, then it would be my pedal. You really have to
try one. It is THE smoothest pedal that I have played in my over 30
years of playing.

That looks interesting. Would be scary to buy without trying it first
though.

I might email them to see if they would give me a 30 day trial or something,
but doubt it since i'm way up here in the far north (Vancouver BC Canada)
across military guard posts (border crossing) and surrounded by government
tax departments.

Thanks for the suggestion though. :-)

Doug.
