Just a note for those of you that are dumb enough to read and post to
usenet via Google Groups ...

Since about last tuesday, anything you've posted hasn't been propagated
outside of the sorry_excuse_for_a_server operated by google and hence
those of us that use an actual real usenet client paired with any one of
a number of paid and FREE NNTP servers haven't seen your posts.

This same thing happened about a month or two ago and lasted for a week
before the idiots at Google that run their pathetic NNTP server fixed
the situation.

Anyone with more than 2 brain cells is (or should be) experiencing
usenet using any standard NNTP client paired with a real usenet server,
because as google fucks around with their server this is only going to
happen more and more often.

You're a regular tech wizz, huh?
To me your statement sounds pretty patronizing

The shortcomings and deficiencies of Google's web-based interface to
usenet have been recognized and explained by MANY people in various
forums over the past few years.

It's not just my opinion that far too many people are imposing an obtuse
handicap on themselves by continuing to use google - and that those same
people are branded as dumb when they continue to use google when these
shortcomings are pointed out to them.

Though google groups has it's quirks, you get what you pay for- and
I'm not paying for it.
