Recognized not only as an important soloist and international artist,
Selmer and Rico reeds clinician Tim Price has also received acclaim as
a best-selling author and teacher in the jazz education field.
A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, he has
accumulated decades of real world experiences with big bands and
small ensembles, touring and recording with some of the greatest names
in American music. He is also on the jazz faculty at the New School
University in New York City and Long Island University Jazz Dept. as
well as teaching privately in Reading Pa and New York City.
He has given workshops all over the world, leading outstanding
programs at many colleges and music schools including his alma mater,
Berklee. Tim has also enriched many high school programs with his
unique approach.
With his depth and breadth of experience in all aspects of the music
business, Tim Price can help any jazz program become more focused and
