Trust me, Matt. I'm your friend. I'm a medical professional. I wouldn't
lead you on.

You're a young man, Matt.

If you do not have at least a slight desire for a Custom Shop Fender Tele Jr
with a set neck, chambered mahogony body, and two P-90's, then you should
probably make an immediate appointment with a physician.

You may be seriously ill.

Yes, but sometimes I don't feel that way. :)

At least someone dared to come up with a suggested Fender I might want.
Bravo on the try. P-90s are good things. I just don't find Teles even a
little bit comfortable. Neck (most) or body (all). And I prefer a shorter
scale.

But your post was still funny. :)

Jag-Stang sales alone disprove this assertion.

Yet not. :)

You wish. I am well insured, thankyouverymuch, but need no treatment.
There is no 'cure' for a free mind and soul.

Let's just hire a medium and get this over with.

Uh, guys? I've been bothered by this. I lie awake night worrying, tormented
by guilt and shame. I've finally decided to come out about it.

This may shock and perhaps even sicken the weak-stomached of you:

I went to a lousy school.

Alas, I will never know the satisfaction of being in the 10 %.

CAN I STILL POST HERE?

Ok. Well, sell the Gibson, all will be forgiven.

It's ok, sometimes in the heat of the Music Store moment we all make bad decisions.

OH. We knew that.

Bummer. It's pretty nice here, we got nice chairs 'n stuff.

> CAN I STILL POST HERE?

Nope. Return yer rmmg Discount Card, and tear up the Terms And Conditions Agreement that you
signed. Someone will be around to get the freezer back, and just drop the car at the office you
picked it up at. You'll have to get the stuff out of your desk by 3.30 tomorrow, and get the
accounts closed by Friday. The house will be on the market next week, so start lookin. That woman
won't be your wife by the time you get home today, and your kids will be staying at the rmmg foster
home until we find someone else to look after them. Change your name back to the original one, and
turn the lights off on your way out. Have a nice day, and thanks for being with us for a short
time.

Hey. My weight is already loose enough.
I can barely keep my pants around it as it is, it keeps spilling over
the top and untucking my shirt.
Why in the hell should I pay you $3 a day to turn into human jello.
You must be some sort of idjut.
You ever see jello people walking around full of health and energy?
NO!
They are all home having someone turn them over in bed, that's what.
Richard Simmons is whining outside their window.
None of that for me, thanks.

Oddly enough Fender is building me a drop-top Set-Neck Tele, 22 fret slab
rosewood/maple neck (profile of my choice) chambered body, and 24.75" scale.
The maple top will be close in appearance to that of my Merle Haggard, and
there will be waist and cutaway contours. Two Fender splittable humbuckers,
five way blade switch, master volume and tone. The tone will push/pull to
split the pickups in the middle position. Same hardware as the Merle.

No puppy on the headstock, though.

How about that one?

Nope. Still not comfortable to me. I like carved tops as well. And you
just forfeited your right to ask if I 'at least' played something before I
bought it.

If I'm going to have someone custom build me a guitar, it won't be Fender,
and it won't have a Tele body style. And the only Fender pickups I've
heard and liked at all have been single-coils.

We will have to see what FMIC says about that. I'm interested to find out if
it actually is a Tele.
