I don't know if it boosted treble, but the ADA I had
sure boosted the volume when kicked on. I hated it.
The Boss Flange did the same thing. I'm sure some people like
that. The old MXR Flanger was great. Kick it on, it comes in at the
same volume. Carl

My original ADA Flanger actually cuts a lot of treble out. Maybe there's
something mis-set internally or else you got a lemon.

Hi, on a slightly related note, I own 2 original MXR Flangers, that are
both from the same era , but sound quite a bit different from each other,
even when duplicating the 4 knobs positions...They're a little noisy , so
I don't use them that much now, but they're awesome sounding flangers...I
had a Mutron Flanger before them that was even better....ERIC

Don't start rumors, but the old MXR Flanger is a better beast than the
ADA - old or reissue.....
