Hong Kong, April 17, 1997: Hong Kong-based multimedia developer, The Black
Box, announced today the debut of 'The Bitter End', a song from Richie
Kotzen's forthcoming album, "Something to Say". Kotzen, a highly
accomplished recording artist and former lead guitarist and songwriter for
the band Poison, released the track for an Internet exlusive marking the
launch of his new Web site at http://richiekotzen.com, which is designed,
developed, and hosted by The Black Box.

Fans will be able to listen to 'The Bitter End' for free and preview the
11 other songs from "Something to Say" in streaming RealAudio 3.0 and
downloadable WAV formats before it is made available on CD to stores. The
album will be released in Japan on May 25, 1997 by Polystar, Richie's
second album with that label following "Wave of Emotion".
