Help! What is the best, safest way to ship a guitar to Japan? I've
checked with UPS and Fed Ex and they will not ship it (oversize
package).

Are airline baggage compartments safe? I've a friend that had a guitar
ruined (the neck warped, the string tension was released prior) in a
baggage compartment. He thought it was because of the cold, true?

Is ATA absolutley necessary? Would a regular case inside a padded
cardboard box be sufficient?

Leaving in a few weeks, please if you would, respond email.

thanx - MT

Don't do it! They've already horded enough of them and have them stored
away in warehouses never to be enjoyed again!

I would invest in a Hiscox Liteflite case. Contact cfr...@aol.com for
detaials. I have checked my guitars in as baggage on trans-atlantic
flights in these cases. Allow the guitar to warm-up slowly in the case on
arrival. (Have a qick peek before leaving the airport).
