Depends on how curious you are.... It's not as big as Anaheim, but you
theoretically could spend 3 days there if you have alot of business to
conduct, plus checking out things out of curiousity. I'm looking at
maybe Friday, all day Saturday... that should do. It's not as big as
it was back in the Atlanta days, if that helps...
Anyone else from here going to be there?

It's July 23-25(Friday-Sunday)
I'll be there. Mondoslug(me) is also playing that weekend. I'll be playing with
my Jazz/Rock instrumental band, "Big Pants People" at Bean Central Fri/Sat,
July 23/24. Definitely a NON-NAMM event. It's just a gig. It's at a very small
coffee house on West End near Vandy, but the bands good IMO. Come on by if in
the neigborhood.

Hey, cool... I'm going to be up there with some friends that play in
fusion groups.. Could you be more specific about directions?

The "bands"? When is your band going to be there, specifically? I
haven't seen a band of someone's from the Net yet, that would be
really interesting.
Thanks..I am probably going.
Jason
Ok ... 22, 23, 24th of July. I have to be in KY a couple of hours from
Nashville. Time at inlaws ... time at NAMM ... hum? Need anything
special to get in, or do us common folks get allowed through th door
for a donation?

Share what you know. Learn what you don't.
Bean Central is at 2817 West End which is a main drag. It's a couple of miles
from the actual NAMM show but still downtown. 5 minutes car ride tops.

Sorry, my mistake. Didn't do well in English...ever. The bands(band's) as in
the one I'm in, "Big Pant's People".
We'll be there Fri and Sat night from 8:30-10:30pm(or close).
Not to burst anyone's NAMM bubble, but it is NOT open to the public. It is
strictly a trade show, for manufacturers, reps, and dealers. You must have
a NAMM badge to get in.
There are many sites that do great web coverage of the show, including my

Polfus will be my guest at the 1999 Nashville NAMM show... I am the founder,
president, co-owner and grunt of Ayan Enterprises -- a fully registered NAMM
member.

Thanks for the info. I figured that would be the case! Staying with
the inlaws ... never a break.

Keeping my 535 warm and cozy until the check arrives? Folks ... this

Yeah...so there.
Thanks again, Big G,

I'm thinking about trying to catch mondoslug's fusion band, which I
think is playing "somewhere" there... (I haven't looked to see if
there is a followup). It'd be "interesting" to see some Usenet
regulars...

Is that down by Gruhn's, "sort of"? I'll be able to find this street
easily from the convention center?

In that case- I love anyone who is going to Nashville NAMM and has no one on
their guest list... I've got a birthday coming up if anyone wants to be REAL
nice.... heh heh... talk about wishful thinking...
