started playing and I'm looking for other musicians in the Modesto
area to play with. I'm looking for other guitarists, bassists,
singers, and possibly keyboardists and drummers -- or whatever -- to
play Country, Blues, Pop, Rock, Folk, etc. My most favorite band is
The Beatles. Other groups/artists I like are: 10,000 Maniacs,
Collective Soul, CCR (most of the songs I know so far are theirs),
Eric Clapton, The Doors, Dire Straits, Bob Dylan, Melissa Ethridge,
Hootie and the Blowfish, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Bette Midler, John
Mellencamp, Tom Petty, R.E.M., Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkle,
Bruce Springsteen, Stone Temple Pilots, U2, Elvis, Glen Campbell, B.B.
King -- pretty much anything with feeling and emotion.
Your current skill level, age, gender, and the equipment you have is
unimportant. The most important thing is the music. All who are
interested are welcome.....let's get together and see what happens.

I live in Merced, and am always looking for an someone to play music with
and am kind of having trouble finding people with time or inclination to
get together. E-mail me.
Although is is unimportant. I used to sing ok when younger. Been playing
on and off for about 25 years (more off than on). Have a Martin D35, D18
copy, Japanese Strat, old Fender Deluxe Reverb and Fender Vibro Champ.
Just tried electric last year. Never been organized either.
Like the Beatles - know some of the acoustic riffs - three or four.
Love Neil Young, CSNY, Clapton, Stones, Band, Grateful Dead, CCR, Kinks (Lola)
Hot Tuna, and more I can't remember.
If you like old fiddlers - they are always looking for guitar accomp. for their
practices and jams. I get to practice those beats and they are nice people and
meet all over. Ceres, Turlock, Merced, Fresno, Stockton.
