I just wanted to put in a plug for LeCover amp covers
(http://www.lecover.com).

They're a lower priced (but equal quality) alternative to Tuki covers. I was
looking for heavy, padded covers for my "gigging" amps and when I called Tuki
I was told it would be 2 to 3 weeks before they could even make them. Lecover
beat their prices by 35% and got them to me in about 9 days.

They even helped me when I screwed up the measurements of one of my amps so
that the cover didn't fix. They basically re-made the cover for labor only
which was above and beyond the call of duty as far as I was concerned
considering that it was my screw-up!

Thanks. I will check them out.
I have an abnormal size cabinet. Special made covers that I have seen were
just too much $$.

I also want to put in my own good word for LeCover--I'm really happy with
my padded road bag w/ bottom. Now I really feel like I'm protecting my
amp investment. And Larry is great, accessible by phone and very
friendly. And yes, his rates and turnaround time are better than Tuki's
by far. He's obviously a smaller business, so support him, 'cause he puts
out quality work and customer service.

I had a good experience with LeCover too. Last year I wanted a cover for a
MusicMan 112 Sixtyfive I bought at a guitar show. I contacted LeCover, gave
him the measurements - and in just a few days I had a very well-made,
reasonably priced cover for it that fits perfectly...

I have a LeCover for my Boogie Mark-II that I got several years ago when
the guy was starting out. It's taken a lot of abuse, and still looks
new. I met the guy and saw his setup...he lives in the Chicago area.
Does really good work.

Whoops,

I somehow missed the original post with LeCover's contact info. I'm sorry, but
can you post it again?

Thanks,

Peter

Another thought: I had an amp cover made by a local place that makes boat
covers...they did a great job, for $40.00.

Now that's an interesting idea. There is one of those places close by. I
will see what they can do for me.
Thanks

Tell them you want the canvas-type nylon. Wears like iron.
