Has any one seen this video? I'm just beginning to play slide,
and I'm a big fan of Warren's in general. Is this video any good?

I think Carl F. told me about this, and sait it was a good video. I've been
thinking about ordering it.

Here's the deal on the video. I own it, so there.

It starts off with Warren doing a long little solo thing, then actually gets
into the teaching. Unlike every other video I have seen, this one's great.
He even gives you his e string to tune to. Anyways, it's good for beginners
and a lot of you "experts" who think there's nothing to the blues. He
actually talks a bit about how you express yourself with bending and attack
and all. Oh yeah, the last half of the tape on sliding is a pretty good
primer and shows a few advanced moves too. Not to mention, the whole way
through he actually clues you in to what's going on instead of just playing
and talking about unrelated crap.

This is probably not a beginner type video. There is a lot of material to
absorb. Warren is a tremendous talent. The latter third of the video is on
slide. He basically talks about some basics and then shows his skills in
action. His discussion of playing slide with standard tuning is pretty
cool.

Don't get me wrong. The tape is very helpful especially if you like
Warren's style. Well worth your money.
