The long awaited film MC5:A True Testimonial produced by FutureNow
Films will make its Toronto premiere at the Toronto Film Festival Wens
9/11 and Fri 9/13.The movie includes both live performances and
interviews with those involved in the somewhat checkered career of
this notorius and influential great (IMO) rock band.Fans of the band
and the rock,metal and punk bands they influenced should check it

I Don't think things are at that stage yet.Ask FutureNow Films.I
imagine that they are using the film festival circuit to try to line
up some sort of distribution arrangement.Probably a lot depends on
crowd reaction and press interest-though the reviews I've heard are
quite favorable.Quite frankly that is not my field of expertise.I'm
just trying to get the word out to Detroit rock freaks and other
folks,since I love the music and am trying to return the favor for all
the joy the music has brought me and licks I copped from the band both
as the MC5 and in their other musical efforts.I have heard of a
Detroit showing in October but can't confirm any details.The I-94 Bar
