I trying to learn the song "Never Going Back Again" by Fleetwood Mac
(from the Rumors album), and I have a question about the tuning.
I download the tablature from Nevada, and the instructions say tune to
C G D G B E (lowest to highest) and capo 6th fret. The tablature
reads like there is no capo, and to tune the 1st and 2nd strings to
C and G is not easy (they're either too tight or too loose depending
on which way you go). If you do the capo thing, there's a point in the
song where you need to chord at the 14th fret (the music reads 8th
fret, but 8+6=14), and I just don't think that's right. Help!!

You want to drop down to the C and G. You might have to experiment with
string guages a bit. This tuning to similar to Jimmy Page's Bron Y Aur.
I haven't had much trouble dropping down. The Low string will be a bit
floppy bit it gives the low-end needed.

Good Luck!

Yo Jason-

I don't know if this helps but Dr. Licks has a tab version done in
dropped-D and capoed at the fourth fret. I play it open because have a
low voice and big hands.
I haven't tabbed it out yet but I will if you are interested enough to
wait a few days for it. It's on my list of contributions back to OLGA and
I need people like you to turn up the heat on me.
