Sucked Out by Superdrag
transcribed by Mike Richards

Yep, It's me again. I hereby present:

Sucked Out v2.0

I bought the CD today and its great! If anybody wants anything
else off of it let me know and I can try. I plan to tab Cynicality
sometime. As always, the riffs are only what I think are correct.
(But considering I haven't seen any other Sucked Out tabs, you
should be glad you have anything! :) Also, spacing reflects timing
somewhat, but I REALLY suggest you play along with the CD until
you have a good grasp of the timing.

v2.0 now includes:

patern for opening verse
full tab (instead of just writing "C#m, G#, etc.")
bass part (I figured out everything except the chorus, which
several people posted and mailed to me.)
the solo

PLEASE NOTE: The guitar and bass parts do not nessecarily
line up.

Verse: Play the first line reasonably clean, then kick in
the distortion for the verse riff.

--Verse riff-- (I'm not sure if I have the positions for the E and
the B correct. There's too much distortion for me
to tell.)

Pre-chorus: Those little dots are stacatto marks. They indicate
that the note or notes should be played short. There.
You learned something about standard notation. :)

Solo: Here's what I make of the solo. Some feedback comes in a
measure or two before. Everything should be right except
I'm not sure about the part at the end where the notes are
held under the vocals but I think its right. Rhythm guitar
and bass play the verse parts behind the solo.

Outro: Again, feedback about a measure before.
Repeat and fade.

Order: Intro riff, verse riff, Pre-chorus riff, chorus riff x2,

Verse riff x2, Pre-chorus riff, Chorus riff x4

Solo, Pre-chorus riff, Chorus riff x4, Outro and fade

As always, I'd love some feedback. (good or bad)

PS - Once again, I ask the maintainer of Hootie's Tab page to put up the new version.

I think the pre-chorus goes like this

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------44444444-
---7--7--7--7--6--6--6--6--7--7--7--7--6--6--6--6---4-4-44444444444-
---7--7--7--7--6--6--6--6--7--7--7--7--6--6--6--6---4-4-44422222222-
---5--5--5--5--4--4--4--4--5--5--5--5--4--4--4--4---2-2-222-----------------

because that's where his hands are in the video....
