Thunderclap Newman.
Well, this one's stuck in my head right now, and I *REALLY NEED* to get it
out.
I'm looking for the band that did 'Something in the air' from probably the
early seventies. I'm pretty sure that's what it's called, and snippetts of
lyrics that we've come up with look like this:
Call out the instigator
Cause there's something in the air
We got to get together sooner or later
Cause the revolution's near
And you know it's right
We have got to get it together
We have got to get it together
Now
PLEASE HELP!

Alan:
Here's some help for you. Theres a lyrics search database that will find
key words in a song and is fairly extensive, you just have to know how to
phrase your query--tends to be case sensitive...at

The original was by Thunderclap Newman in the late 60s, but I've a
feeling there has been a recent cover of it but I don't know by whom.

Something in the Air, the original version was down by Thunderclap
Newman, on their lp Hollywood Dreams--produced by none other than Pete
Townsend of the who (Chairman Pete hisself)
I think I heard a version by Tom Petty a while back.
