I took some lessons from Joe when I lived in Las Vegas in the late
'70's. Great guy, great player!

Thanks!

How good can that guy be playing a Heritage with that funny headstock?

I can only reckon by the vid posts here thth there is a treasure trove
of unsing jazz guitarists out there who are masters in their own
right. It's rather humbling to now that the guy I flipped off today in
traffic or the lady I pushed off the road or the guy I rammed into or
possibly even the cop I outran might be a gifted jazz guitarist :)-

It's the same for jazz players on all instruments. I knew a drummer in Miami
who had a day job at the Miami airport.
He told me that he would help load the luggage for big rock acts that would
come into town. Later at night when they got off they'd come into the jazz
club where he was playing backing guys like Stanley Turrentine and say "hey
aren't you the guy that helped me with my suitcase today?"

Do you have night vision goggles or what?

Great playing but an mp3 would have been fine for all I got out of the
visuals.

That is a nice tune . If you look over to the side you will find the movie
version in the related vids section, it's easier to get the melody and basic
changes there. Then you can work out your own arrangement.

Yeah, that was really nice and refreshing version, I usually hear that
tune played as a Bossa.
Great playing.
