New Rick Stone Quartet Video on YouTube

Okay guys, I know I haven't been around here much lately, but the school
year eats up most of my time, and my latest obsession (video) has been
eating up the rest of it.

I have managed to put together some clips from my quartet's last concert
though, which you can see here:

These are my first attempts at video editing, so I'm still learning (One
thing I learned is that HD video takes a ton more system resources compared
to SD!!!). Just got GeForce graphics and an eSATA card with RAID 0 drive
(which I'm installing this weekend, so hopefully this will make the process
less painful.

I'm sure you're a really nice guy and the other guys, the out-of-tune,
bowing-technique-challenged bassist, the guy who owns the piano and the
percussion person, are all nice guys. Can you get all those guys on an
elevator, though, and still have room for passengers? Once you all get
off the elevator, where's your market?

Very nice playing, and a nice quartet. Just one more reason why I've
gotta get my butt up to NYC.

I'll definitely try to make that. Kleinhout keeps telling me I don't
get out enough. :-)

I'm playing a trio with Dave Morgan (bass) and Ron Godale (drums) (unless
Jim wants to cough up some more bread so I can have a pianist).

Rick, Really nice playing here by you and the quartet.......But why
is the number 1 "Related Videos" = "Otters holding hands" (http://
www.youtube.com/watch?v=epUk3T2Kfno&feature=related)?

Cute, but what is the relation?

BTW: I am also a fan of Novembro.

Thanks for the kind words. I've been laughing about that all week about the
"Otter" thing and have absolutely NO idea (you don't really have any control
over that when you post, and I've noticed some other pretty wierd ones
occasionally attached to other jazz guitar videos). But look at the number
of views the "Otters" got! 10,960,000!!!??? I'm starting to think that's
what I otter (just couldn't resist a bad pun) name my next song! Imagine
the possibilities . . . I could ride on their coat-tails (or otter-tails) to
fame.

I wouldn't even have found your video if I hadn't been browsing otter
clips and noticed yours under the related videos.
