Myles,
This guy fixed mine: http://www.armensmusic.com/
Not cheap and not fast, but possibly the only game in town.
A guy named Eric Bradley (used to be Harry Kolbe's right hand man)
does good work. I had a lot of work done by Kolbe/Eric some years
back and was and was very happy, but haven't used Eric since he went
out on his own (Kolbe is out of business). A friend of mine has
though, and said he did very good work for him. So far as I know, he
doesn't have a storefront, but can be reached through either 30th St.
Guitars (http://www.30thstreetguitars.com/home.html) or Paul Nieto
(http://www.guitartechny.com/Latest_News.html). Rogue Music also has
a repair department, but I've never used them for amps.

Hey Myles,
Do you know Ziv Nagari? He usually works on tube amps, but I think I
remember him saying he fixed someone's Polytone once. He's excellent,
fixes a lot of people's amps that you might know.
