These writers have a good idea:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/news/0,12597,1148620,00.html

I'm going to record some of the the usual derivative claptrap, issue a
CD, and get it listed on Amazon. I can see the reviews already: "Max
Leggett's guitar playing is astonishing. Quite apart from a stunning
and effortless technical mastery, he has stylistically taken the best
of Django Rheinhardt, Wes Montgomery, Miles Davis, and Mother Teresa
and mixed them up to create a sound that is distinctly his own. Anyone
who cares about music will want to buy this CD. Five stars."

Better watch out though, Max. Some guys actually review those cds
and post their thoughts at the site. I have a good friend who writes
some pretty decent material and released a cd through Amazon; it's scary
what some people wrote about it. Or funny.
"Mr. Leggett is trying to be the next Bob Dylan. It's too bad his guitar
playing isn't up to the task. However, we find the bass player to be
so astonishing, we suspect an inlaw or heavy gambling debt to involved.
We also take umbrage at his obvious and dishonest stage name. Max
may refer to his weight, but we have no idea what the reference to 'legit'
would be."

That's one of the reasons given for self-reviewing by one of the
writers: People he evidently considered idiots were panning his work,
they had no obvious expertise, so he was merely balancing things out.
That whole review thing could turn nasty if A slams B because A is a
friend of C and then D pans A .....
