What was interesting though, was following the link below reviews to
Fender and scrolling down a bit. There is a neat article about a
limited edition 50th anniversary George Fullerton Strat and amp
set...those of us who grew up on Eldon Shamblin (for that matter, old
enough to remember Eldon Shamblin) remember that great rhythm sound he
got from that setup...he was one of the first playing a strat (I
believe he played one of the early prototypes)...especially with the
handwound pickups....(that's how you get the Charlie Christian
sound)...I also liked the 5 watt 6" speaker tube practice amp...
