Hello Group,

Searched in Google a while, but couldn't find anything. I could have sworn
that some kind soul had posted a link to a zip file with a ton of BITB
standards to play along with. I already have the Charlie Parker Omnibook
files, I'm looking for other "Real Book" standards. Any assistance
appreciated. Sorry for repeating an oft-asked question.

Thanks!

Nenshad

You might be thinking of Wesley Dick's wonderfull site. It's at
http://www.wesleydick.com/
if they haven't shut him down again.

I downloaded most of my BIAB stuff some time ago, but I have some filed under
Phillips_realbook, and some under Jazztalk. You might use those to help narrow
your search. Also you could start with the band-in-a-box newsgroup -
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/band-in-a-box. It seems they have some links
there to start with.

Good luck,

Hack

The Yahoo! group was a perfect suggestion. They have a zip of the Real Book
there. Thanks Hack!

Nope, apparently he was happy to find zipped up tiffs of the Real Book.

I WAS looking for BIAB files and found them at the Yahoo Group
BIABFileArchive thanks to the tip provided. This has nothing to do with
TIFF files of the Real Book!

My mistake; however, you still might want to check out Wes's site. There's
dozens of megabytes of zipped up BIAB files there.

It will probably be the same collection if the unzipped DOS files
start with RB*****.mg*
