Any thoughts? A while ago peerless was really hot in this group but I don't see much about them anymore. Any thoughts on the peerless vs the budget comins semi-hollows?

Seems like the traffic here is way down by the way...

No, not right now. Just playing more and seeing what's out there. I
was very impressed with the quality of 77 guitars.....I'd like to try
an exrubato.

I had a bad experience with customer service with them.

Fads, fashions and lesser-known brands come and go, but Ibanez have been
around a long time and seem to be going from strength to strength. They
have reputation, sales and service, variety, resale value and possibly a
lot of other things going for them.

their guitars have thick tops and not much in the way of real archtop vibe IMO. I've had a bunch of GB10s and several PM-120s. They've discontinued several of their high end jazz boxes too.

I was able to play some of Bill's semi-hollows last fall and I thought they were a lot of guitar for the money. They had a variety of tonal possibilities, played well, were comfortable to hold, and looked really nice.

I am a bottom feeder - my Jay Turser 335 clone is a very nice guitar. I
paid $150 for it on CL and then spent about the same with my luthier to
have it all setup. Everyone who plays its loves it.

I have the same doubts i'm bettween peerless monarch and eastman ar403 or ar503 i do find the ar371 sunburst to be the best looking (IMHO) but soundwise a bit trebble to my taste compared to the 503.

i've heard a peerless monarch and a manhattan they seem to have a quite nice quality control, but i dunno if the guys use flat 013s daddario or something, but many times the sound is flat dead. lacks liveliness. wich is a shame to my the monarch is the most beautifull option.
