I do like. Thanks for these. But I hope you won't mind a minor quibble: your
first starting progression is has 12 beats, but the two modified examples
have 13... (the last chord should have 3, not 4 beats, presumably, I think).
And the second progression also has the problem that the 3625 chords need 2,
not 1, beats.

Hi David,

Thanks for the thanks.....
Actually the example is correct--the F9 is on "four" of the previous
measure--the "4" in parenthesis in the beginning designates that--
sorry if that wasn't clear......
Also--the "approach chords" do take one the the beats of each original
chord--so all is cool.......

Actually, it is correct--the F9 chord is actually a pickup beat on
"four" from the previous measure--(the "4" in the parenthesis is
supposed to designate that--sorry for any confusion.....).....
Also, the approach chord DOES take one of the original chord's
beat.....so all is cool with the example.....
