Wow ... he's playing guitar, violon, mandoline, banjo and double bass in one
track!

Thanks to Youtube I am discovering many old guitar heroes that are new to me
... Joe Maphis, Jerry Reed, Merle Travis and of course Chet Atkins (but I
knew him already already of course). There's even a clip of Jimmy Bryant.

What's the name for that kind of music. Simply country? Or cowboy bebop?

Fantastic music.

They had a musical family I think (Collins Brothers?). Not sure about
him now. I Googled him once but didn't come up with any albums.

Check him out with the "Collins Kids"...

As far as what kind of music....
I guess you could say just great pickn'...LOL..
