Wow, a cool pic and brief description of another Forshage headless
(Klein-like) guitar.
This Ergo site is great, BTW, for references on equipement and
luthiers focusing on ergonomic options.

I'm psyched to hear about any and all Forshage headless guitars...
this walnut one is just a beauty!

I'm surprised that more of the semi-hollow fan club here at rmmgj
hasn't expressed more lust for these instruments. They are just
spectacular for jazz (and anything else, if so equipped). They weigh
5-6 lbs, balance on your leg, have large chambers for a woody sound,
and are handcrafted with a high degree of precision and customization
- all for around $3K.

Here's mine in ostentatious orange... :) http://tinyurl.com/27zj5s

Hey Roger, you never said what all that orange is about. The vid
includes orange t-shirt, orange guitar, wasn't the wall in the room
orange?

Tennesse Vols fan? Btw, mine will be blackburst with the curly maple.

I know, I'm an orange nut. My studio is called Lounge L'Orange.

I have an orange door, orange ceiling, orange espresso maker, orange
vintage dial phone, orange shag carpet, orange lava lamp, orange (and
silver) couch and pillows, and at least 3 orange guitars. Once you
get going with something like this, it's fun to keep it going.

Whatever. :)

Blackburst was one of my considerations back when. Can't wait to see
it!

Okay, just didn't know if it had something to do with a team
affiliation or something. Orange works. Didn't mention an Orange
amp.

Yeah, I can't wait to see it either, but wait I must. Besides, Chris
has his hands full with a new arrival.

Not the brand, no - but I do have an orange tolex-covered Princeton
Reverb!

Chris is on kid #2. I am pretty sure his wife had their first during
the time he was building my guitar. Anyway, this walnut model is so
cool. I have no excuse at all to buy another of the same model
though. Mine has a Gibson '57 Classic neck pickup; it is smooth as
butter for jazz tone.

Months ago I was musing with Chris about a true acoustic version of
his ergo design. I am still really interested in that. Even "mostly"
acoustic - with a floating wood bridge, and a significant body
thickness - at least 3". Either a floating or a routed humbucker.
Could still use the ABM tuning tailpiece that way - screwed to an
extended endblock or something.

Even better. I am afraid now to ask just how far this orange thing
goes. :-)

Yeah, I spoke at length with Chris about kids, etc, as I have a few
(4) of my own.

Sounds like an interesting project. In orange?
