This album features some cuts with Raney, from his "Visits Paris"
period and some Rene Thomas, presumably also from around the same
time. The Raney stuff is the classic material and mostly features
Sonny Clark. It has the indispensable versions of Pennies From
Heaven, Stella, There Will Never Be Another You, Yesterdays, Body and
Soul, among others. The Thomas stuff sounds great too, although I'm
not sure which album it comes from.

It's only 12 downloads for 20 tracks so it might be worth downloading
even if you have some of this already.

Looks like it comes from the Jazz in Paris CD The Real Cat.

I saw that afterward while browsing emusic. What year is the real cat
from?

The track 1 to 8 have been recorded in 1954
and the 9 to 16 have been recorded in 1956
