Wow! I received my 2 1/2" wide Moody Leather strap last night and I'm blown
away. I ordered the Redwood with Cream backing and the thing is just a work
of art. The top leather is supple and richly stained and the backing is
butter-soft (just not slippery). The stitching is perfect and it grips my
guitar strap-mounts nice and tight.

This is a true "luxury" item at $150, but I swear it's worth it. Now when I
pick up my guitar I spend a few seconds admiring the strap!! If you've got a
Coach (or equivalent) wallet and leather seats in your car and love well
made craftwork, then go to the Moody's site and check these out. See:

Sorry to introduce a new kind of GAS, but this thing just blew me away. It
makes my leather Levy look like a bad toy.

I'm wearing a collarless shirt today and the Moody rubbed against my
uncovered neck a little and it actually felt good, rather than chaffing.
BTW, it cost almost half as much as the Dean Stylist that I put it on, yet
together they look like "a million bucks." I'll be ordering one for my
Heritage next payday.

I love the way those straps feel as well. They are the perfect width
to spread an instrument's weight around so that it feels light, and the
soft thickness of the leather gives me confidence that it will last a
good long time.

I also have a far less expensive 2 1/2 leather strap on my Heritage
Eagle that feels good enough that I don't jones for another Moody.
