Hi Folks
I've been listening a lot just lately to this CD and particualy like the use
of percussive sounds on the guitar. Has anybody come across any other
recordings in a similar style? e.g jazz based, acoustic guitar with
percussive style rhythmic accompaniment.
Hope to hear from you all

Hi, I dont know anyone else that quiet plays like they do. I love the kind of
loose grooves they play and I think both of them are just as good at comping as
soloing. They are some of my favorite rhythm players. Just listen to the two
of them playing rhythym on Stompin' At The Savoy.

Same with me :) I love this record. I love the way they play rhythm using
these percussive sounds. I've juzt started my own "duo", inspired by Bireli
& Sylvain. It's not that complcated, but IMO it's good starting point...
Check it out :))
