I picked up a Raezer's Edge NY 8 for my modeling rig a couple weeks ago and I'm absolutely thrilled. So much so that I'm considering getting another one. The question is whether to just get a second NY8 and run the pair in stereo when I want more coverage or get a Stealth 10 for added volume with a single cab. Does anyone have experience with both or even just the Stealth 10 who'd like to comment? any and all info would be appreciated.

My normal gig rig is a pair of NY8s. The spread is very satisfying for the bandstand a and out inn the audience.

2 8's are plenty. That should sound quite good. When I was playing a lot of electric guitar a few year back I used a pair of Buscarino chameleons with my modeling rig and it was wonderful.

I also have the s12, but rarely take it out of the house anymore. I have tried the 12 and the 8 together as paIr, and it was ok. The downside was I felt the sound was different depending on listening position more so than with the two eights.

I had an RE Twin 8 for a while but found it cumbersome, I'm very happy with my 2 RE 8's. I usually only use one and it's fine but I'll use 2 if the gig is outside and need more power.
Using an 8 with a 12 is probably not great, because one is 4 Ohms impedance and I believe the 12 is 8 Ohms, so it wouldn't be even, but I'm not sure.

Thanks all. I'm leaning towards the second NY8 but I'd love to hear more. And just to be clear: the alternative is not a 12 but a Stealth 10.

I Goofed about Impedance, the NY 8's and the 10's and 12's are all 8 Ohm impedance.
It was my twin 8 that was a 4 Ohm cabinet.
